Women Behind Bars---Should they deserve another chance?

A bar keeps them away from family, lovers and the society. How much we know about those women behind bars? I don’t want to talk about why they should be in prison. I just want to know once they become prisoners, how many of them regain people’s respect and love, and how many of them have the determination to stand up again.
As a woman, a wife, a Mother, and a daughter, no matter what crime they commit, they can’t be cut off their social relationships. I wonder if they ever think about how they should confront their kids and parents. Maybe they don’t have many choices, but do we give them choice? Does the society give them choice? I have met too many women behind bars. They think they have got their second life in prison and will get second chance in the society. However, their life can’t be the same as before they become prisoners. They have to bear people’s scornful eyes. They have more difficulties in finding a job, and finally are disable to make a living. If say, Putting them into the bar is to give them a second life, then their second life costs too much.
